It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marianna Andrews, 92, of Nashville. Mrs. Andrews retired from Nashville Electric Service where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a member of several senior groups, including Lipscomb group. She attended and was one of the founding members of Broadmoor Church of Christ. Mrs. Andrews found joy in traveling, from the mountains to the beach, she was just happy to be with friends and her husband!**
Marianna is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, George Leamon Andrews; as well as her parents, Everett Lawrence Mayes and Nellie Katherine Walker Mayes.
Those left to cherish her free-spirited ways and zest for life are 3 children; Rhonda Bernhardt (Ken), Susan Moreland (Steve), Barry Andrews (Teresa); 7 grandchildren, David Bernhardt, Rita Wilson, Michelle Brody, Nicole Karbowski, Brianna Bartlett, Matthew Andrews, Nathan Andrews; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Marion Watts; and many extended friends and family members.
