Mrs. Marie Werrbach's Obituary
Marie B. Werrbach, age 91, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. Marie was born May 22, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Alfred Joseph Brown and Delphine Nicholas Brown.
Marie was a proud alumni of Assumption School and St. Cecelia High School.
She and her late husband were founding members of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was involved in many ministries. She was a Patrol Mother for St. Joseph School and a Girl Scout Leader. She was a bookkeeper, a homemaker, and a retired Metro School Secretary. She enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, ceramics, and quilt making.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Otto W. Werrbach Jr. and daughter Susan Werrbach Mitchell.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Monica Aebersold (Mark), son, Toby Werrbach (Peggie), granddaughters Alyse West (Aaron), and Michelle Pierce; great grandson, Jackson Pierce. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary Service beginning at 7 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Aebersold, Jim Grant, Aaron West, Bernie Werrbach, Charles Brown Jr. and James Gregory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery has been entrusted with the final care of Mrs. Werrbach.
