Patricia Hammond
Marilyn was my first 2nd mom. We met in 1972. I moved in 2 doors down from the Scott's and Shannon became my best friend. When we all lived in California, we rode to work together. She would be drinking iced tea and freezing me out of the car due to hot flashes (literally could see our breath. ha) We would talk and laugh the whole time. Marilyn was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Though I didn't see her as much as I wanted to, I always felt welcome and part of the family. My heart is sad for us down here, but I know she is home and she is WHOLE (and probably talking and laughing with my sister). I will think of her often...especially when I see a picture of Conway Twitty. My love to her family.
