Marion Frances Weber's Obituary
WEBER, Marion Frances -Age 97 of Nashville passed away on Tuesday, June 28th. Harboring a great love of children she began her career as a public school teacher in a one-room school house and retired 40 years later. She also taught Sunday School in the Children's Department of Dalewood Baptist Church for 52 years. She served as a volunteer at Memorial/Skyline Medical Center for 37 years having logged over 900 hours. During her time as a volunteer she was the recipient of the First Humanitarian Award and also received the Presidential Service Award. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles Weber, and son-in-law, Donnie Bower. She is survived by her daughters, Betty (Ralph) Hurst and Susan Bower; grandchildren, Rebekah (Brent) Davenport, Daniel Hurst, Jennifer (Mark) Earnest, Heather (Lowel) Bolin, Christopher (Amanda) Pyle, Jeremy (Katie) Bower, and Candace Bower; and 7 great grandchildren. Her Lord and family were the most important things in her life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dalewood Baptist Church,1586 McGavock Pk. Nashville, TN 37216. A service will be held in her honor at 2PM, Saturday, July 2nd at Dalewood Baptist Church with visitation two hours prior. Visitation will also be held from 4-8PM, Friday, July 1st at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Rd. 1-(615)-865-1101
