Mark Franklin Benson's Obituary
Mark Franklin Benson, age 56 formerly of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dana Benson; parents, Ashley J. and Betty Benson; brother Andy Benson; grandparents Helen and Harold Creswell, and Stella and Clay Benson. He is survived by his daughters, Brandis Belue (Brent), and Ashley Benson (Adam Wallace); grandchildren, Maddox, Parker, Cameron, Avery Belue and Addison Wallace; sister, Cathy Benson and partner, Susan Jimenez; brothers, Michael Benson, Adam Jeffrey Benson and Stacey Benson (Cheryl); nieces, Chelsey Benson and Eden Benson; nephews, Graham Benson, Austin Benson, Blake Benson and Hayes Benson; sisters-in-law, Elaine Benson and Darlene Tudor; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was in the insurance and home improvement business for many years, a graduate of Powell High School and served in the US Air Force. He was an avid NASCAR and Tennessee football fan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 6:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Powell, TN at the Youth Worship Center. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hope Center Ministries, 4410 Hannah Ford Rd, Pegram, TN 37143.
