Mr. Mark Douglas Salman's Obituary
Mark Douglas Salman, 68, of Lutz, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee, during a stop on his dream trip to explore the United States. Born October 15, 1952 in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Rev. Donald Robert Salman and Delores Virginia Wilson Salman. Mark and his family moved to Largo, Florida in the early 1960's. After graduating from Largo High School in 1970, Mark moved to Lutz where he graduated from the University of South Florida and was a successful local entrepreneur.
Mark was a loving husband, father and brother who will be missed dearly. He enjoyed traveling, photography, gardening, and was always open to trying new things. Mark supported his Tampa Bay area professional sports teams, especially the Rays and Buccaneers.
Mark is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Karen; son Kyle and his wife Brittany; daughter Taylor and her husband Josh; brother Grant and his wife Gloria.
Mark brightened the life anyone who came to know him. Mark's family would be comforted by your donation of time or resources to the cause that is nearest and dearest to your heart.
A gathering to remember Mark's life will be planned for the Tampa Bay area at a later date.
