I haven't seen Mark in years since I moved away from Knoxville, but I don't think I've known a kinder and "good person" than him. And Mark was very smart and in tune with what was going on at any given time. He was mostly joyful and happy, but he was somber at appropriate times. And I feel so bad to hear about his passing. My prayers go out to his family and friends. And while I know he made everyone feel special, he made me always feel special like I was his best friend if he would see me every so often years after high school. Knowing Mark, he would have laughed if I cut a joke right now and given one back. And I'm sure that's the way many remember him. I know he will be missed by many. I regret not having seen him in many years. But I will again one day. Just a sad, sad loss.A great person who I can't think of anything at all negative in him as a person. I have no doubt he loved his children and grandchildren. And everyone else.
"I have fought the good fight
I have finished the race
I have kept the faith."

Rest easy and in peace my friend. You made a great positive difference in the world while you were here, and you will not be forgotten.
