Mark VanArsdal's Obituary
Mark A. VanArsdal, age 29 of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 from digestive system failure. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Kathryn VanArsdal, William and Patricia Flood; uncle William Flood Jr., and furry friends Rufus and Peek. He is survived by his parents, Alan and Susan VanArsdal, sister, Sarah VanArsdal, his aunts: Mabel (Dan) Roods, Pat (Bill) Flood, Kathy (Jay) Kaplan, Mary (John) Flood-Ladd, Cindy Jacobsen, and Suzanne Flood, uncles, Paul (Diane) VanArsdal, Rob Jacobsen, as well as numerous cousins.
Mark was a true cat lover, brilliant, and artistic with a dry sense of humor and loved debating philosophy. He enjoyed hanging out at home with his furry friends Nedley and Percy, playing video games, drawing, and reading. Mark was a loyal friend, and kept in touch with his close friends, Eric, Sean, and Erin, despite the distance between them.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 3:00pm. 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37216. (615)865-1101.
