Martha Ann Brown's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Martha Ann Brown on October 16th, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on June 25th, 1935 and was the daughter of the late James F. Anderson and Cara Leona Cox Anderson.
Martha had a heart of gold, and was the kindest soul to grace the lives of her family and close friends. She loved to craft and took up needlepoint and cross stitch projects, creating the most unique works. She was a lifelong member of the Madison Church of Christ. She never met a stranger, and always had a laugh to share. She was a bright light to all who knew her, and her presence will be missed.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents James and Cara. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Walter Brown, Jr.; children Sharon Davis (John), Susan Ralph (Michael), and James Brown; grandchildren Eric Davis, Kristen Roy (Jonathan), and Raylin Ralph; and great-grandchildren Cooper Roy and Easton Roy.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the medical team who diligently cared for Martha: Dr. James Callaway, Dr. Tom Callaway, Dr. Michael Callaway, Dr. Lynda Murff, and Dr. John Bright Cage.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday, October 21st, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
