Mrs. Martha Myers Carr's Obituary
Martha Myers Carr, age 88 of Nashville passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015. She was a military spouse for over 20 years and a member of Brush Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a retired as a receptionist from the YMCA after over 20 years service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Carr and her daughter, Pamela Shandy; brothers , Walter Myers, J.B. Myers and Joe Myers. She is survived by her grandson, Capt. Thomas (Dusty) Shandy; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan Shandy. Her family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11: 45 a.m. on Friday, August 28 at at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will conducted at 12 p.m. on Friday, August 28 from Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Butcher officiating.
