Martha Jane Ellis' Obituary
Martha Jane Ellis, age 83 of Nashville, passed away September 15, 2012. She was born in Springfield, TN on April 5, 1929 to Charles Bidwell and Eddie Desmonie Douglas Williams. She was a long-standing member of Inglewood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe T. Ellis; and daughter, Janie Watts. She is survived by her son, Scott (Kelli) Ellis; daughter, Suzanne Ellis Windorfer; sisters, Ruth Sadler, Madolyn Beal and Katherine Hall; brother, Charles Williams; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of Martha Jane’s life will be conducted at 2 P.M., Saturday, September 22, 2012 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Chaplain Allen Withers officiating. Inurnment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
