Martha Lou Martin Prince's Obituary
PRINCE, Martha Lou Martin, Age 92 of Gallatin, TN was born August 19, 1917 and departed this life October 12, 2009. She made her home in Nashville for fifty-eight years before moving to Gallatin in 1975 upon her husband's retirement. She was a member of Lockeland Baptist Church while in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest A. Prince, Jr.; son, James Barry; brothers Lonnie G. Jr., Fred T. and Hilary T. Martin; parents Lonnie G. Sr., and Eva Jennings Martin. Mrs. Prince is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Rogers) Ray and Donna (Larry) Reynolds; grandchildren, Michelle Morse, Heath Reynolds, Kelly Prince, Kenny and Patrick (Julie) Gilpin, Reagan Ray and Barry (Dana) Ray; 12 great-grandchildren and many longtime friends. Mrs. Prince was a member of College Heights Baptist Church in Gallatin, TN where she attended her much loved Sunday school class under the direction of Jackie Diel. The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 11AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Ben Matthews, of Enon Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Castalian Springs, TN officiating. The family will receive friends from 4PM to 8PM on Tuesday and just prior to services on Wednesday at Spring Hill. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Heath Reynolds, Barry Ray, Kelly Prince, Kenny and Patrick Gilpin and great-grandson, Stephan Prince and honorary pallbearers will be great-grandchildren, Ashley Glass, Whitney Wilhite, Tyler Morse, Hailey and Kale Gilpin, Casey, Breanna and Allen Gilpin, Kristen, Kassidy and Blake Daniel Ray as well as members of her College Heights Baptist Church Sunday school Class.
