Mrs. Martha "Mema" Blackmon's Obituary
Martha O. Blackmon, age 80, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Viola Parker; one daughter, Jackie Frable; one grandchild, Chad Taylor. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert Blackmon; one son, Ronnie Taylor (Lauri); one granddaughter, Kim Byrd (Cary); one great-grandchild, Brylee Byrd. Martha was a loving Christian woman who was always willing to help others and loved everyone. She was also a devoted wife, a good cook and enjoyed time with her family. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Visitation for Martha will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 9 AM until 11 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
