Ms. Martha Munson's Obituary
Martha Simmons Munson age 77, passed away February 20, 2016 in Marietta, Georgia. She was born November 26, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Carl and Helen Simmons. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Sherwin Simmons and sister Nancy Simmons. She is survived by her sons Michael Munson (Megan) of Nolensville, TN and Jonathan Munson (Lisa) of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren Madelyn, Hannah, Grant, Mitchell, and Anna Munson.
Martha was a loving and devoted mom, a caring grandmother, and a woman of deep faith in Christ. She was vivacious, outgoing, and loved spending time with people.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Josh Graves officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission.
