Mrs. Martha M. Reed's Obituary
Martha M. Reed, 89, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. Born June 20, 1930 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Nelson Marvin King and Ruby Irene King.
She was the best mother in the world, someone you could always depend on. She never met a stranger and was a wonderful cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years James E. Reed, Sr; her sisters Deannie and Jean; brother Buddy; grandson Gary Honeycutt.
She is survived by her children Eddie Reed (Lydia), Debbie Honeycutt, and Marty Reed; grandchildren Ronda Gibson (Mitch),Vic Reed (Lindsay), Ashley Tinnin (Rusty); great grandchildren Lauren, Wes, Will, Grayson, Chase, RustiAnn and Rusty Dan; great-great granddaughter Raegan.
In keeping with Martha’s wishes, a private burial will take place in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville with no public service taking place.
