Ms. Martha Underwood's Obituary
Martha Love (Foster) Underwood, age 73, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43+ years, Charles Dudley Underwood, Jr.; parents, Marshall Eugene Foster, II and Evie Gooch Foster; brother, Marshall Eugene Foster, III.
Mrs. Underwood is survived by her five sons; Todd, Larry, Greg (Christy), Jimmy (Allison), and Jeff (Christina) Underwood.; sisters, Evie Gooch Foster, Mary Jane Sanders, and Marsha Neely Mundy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
She had a special love for animals, especially her dog, Eve. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved the Lord and was a woman deeply rooted in her faith. She was a lifetime member of the City Road Chapel United Methodist Church in Madison.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 2 pm until 6 pm at the City Road United Methodist Church (701 Gallatin Rd. S. Madison, TN 37115). A celebration of life will be on Monday, May 24 at 9:30 am with the service to follow at 10 am at the church. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
