Marvin Holland Ghee III, 67, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Born March 26, 1953 in Nashville, he was the son of the late Marvin H. Ghee, Jr., and Clara Jo McCreary.
A carpenter by trade, Marvin built exhibits in the area for trade shows and museums. He was a loving father and an awesome husband who will be missed dearly by his family. He and his wife were members of Valley View Baptist Church in East Nashville. Marvin loved playing his Xbox under the gamertag Phantom615. He was also a fan of the NFL Oakland Raiders, and was learning to adapt to his team becoming the Las Vegas Raiders.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ghee; sons Rick (Kimberly) Ghee, and Tony Ghee; sister Alice Craft; grandchildren Scott (Hamlin) Ghee, Austin (Nichole) Ghee, and Jake Ghee; great grandson Brooks Ghee; stepfather Tom McCreary.
A visitation take place at Spring Hill Funeral Home Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 3 PM until 7 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service conducted by Pastor Mitchell Karnes will be held on Thursday, November 12, at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Nashville. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lane, Brandon Horsley, Arlan Fox, Jon Slinker, Jeff Smith, and Ray Lincoln.
