Mr. Marvin Nicholson Jr.'s Obituary
Marvin (Ray) Nicholson, age 54, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Marvin was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 9, 1964. He was owner of the Nicholson Roofing Company in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was a gifted drummer who played since he was twelve years of age.
He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Ray Nicholson, Sr.
Marvin is survived by his fiancé of 12 years, Kim Dickens; mother, Rebecca (Becky) McCrary; stepfather, Harold McCrary; sister, Marcella Edney; brother, Jeffrey Mark Nicholson; nieces, Mallory Bowman, Kayla Cook and Kimberly Nicholson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 11 am-2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday, June 7, 2018 beginning at 2 pm with Pastor Roscoe Williams officiating. Entombment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Jeff Nicholson, Dan Rodriguesz, William Ussery, Frank Shiney and Lamon Talbert.
