Mrs. Mary "Bea" Swift Bolin's Obituary
Mary “Bea” Swift Bolin passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home in Donelson, TN on March 29, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Alice Swift of East Nashville; Daughter, Lisa Tubb; and brother, Joe Swift, also of East Nashville. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry W. “Skeeter” Bolin; adoring and loving daughters, Janalyn “Punkin” Bornstein, and Holly Jo Crutchfield; sister, Judy Henslee; grandchildren, Devon Bornstein, Brandon Bornstein, Lacy Ortiz, J.J. Barrow and Kaci Lee; Stepsons, Joseph Steven Bolin, Joseph Warren Bolin and Timothy Andrew Bolin. Mary “Bea” had a very green thumb. She loved her flower and plant garden and worked it tirelessly. She enjoyed coloring detailed coloring books, most of which were based on Geometric designs, and she was a whiz at computers, spending many hours a week tinkering with her computer and printer. She loved traveling, especially in the Caribbean and equally on her and Husband’s Harley Davidson Road King Classic motorcycle. 50’s,60’s and 70’s Country Music were her favorites and she was a part of that industry during those years. Her daughters have special memories of their growing up because their Mom, Mary “Bea”, taught them how to love, dance, and laugh. She lit up every room she ever entered. She touched the lives of so many and will be missed by all, especially her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 9 AM until 10 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216.
