Ms. Mary Warner Boyd's Obituary
Mary Warner Boyd passed peacefully on June 19, 2015. She was born April 3, 1926 in Nashville to the late James and Mary Warner. After retiring 26 years as a Metro school bus driver, she enjoyed 20 years as a Grand Ole Opry hostess and tour guide. Mary claimed the three most important foundations of her life were God, family, and church.
Mary is preceded in death by her son, John “Jackie” Boyd Jr. and daughter, Jean Marie Boyd. She is survived by her son, Michael Boyd; daughters, Mary (Mike) Foster, Barbara (Bob) Carnahan, Betty Cochran, Pat (Barry) Ward, and Janet (Rick) Bruce, sister, Ann (George) Vick; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 22, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Deacon George Vick and Deacon Ted Welch officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 -8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Monday 9:00-10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
