My thanks to Mrs Brackman for giving her time, effort and patience to St Ann School for many years. She was my basketball coach for 2 years, although my meager abilities kept me on the "guard" half of the court. Just a couple of years ago, I was thrilled to reconnect with her as my patient, and we shared many memories when I visited her home. (Thanks again for the photo of my sister Jennifer's team.) Carol, it was great to talk with you
again, and my pleasure to help your mom. I wish I had been able to attend her service and see my old classmate Cathy again. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

We had some good times together. I will miss you.

Mrs. Blackman was an amazing coach and model for us girls at SAS. She showed us how to be a strong woman by her example.
So sorry for your loss! Coach Brackman was such a big part of my middle school days, and I have so many memories of her! It still makes me laugh to think about her during the basketball games, she would be sitting on the bench (haha, where I usually was, and rightly so!) and she would be so involved in the game that she would slide over and slide us off the bench! I'll never forget the time I fell backwards and cut my head, she and Joan Adcock rushed me to the ER, it was quite a ride. Carol, you will always have a place in my heart. I remember spending the night with you before games and your Mom cooking hamburgers for dinner! So many little memories that make you all dear to me. So sorry I can't be there for the services, but you will be in my heart and my prayers.
With love,
Barbara Forte Himber
