Mary E. Clinton, "Liz"'s Obituary
Mary E. Clinton, “Liz”, 72, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Jess Clinton, Jr., parents, Vela and Clarence Meadows and five siblings, Velma Clinton, Margie Wright, Carl Vaughn, David Meadows and Baby Joe Meadows.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Wells and Sandy Raymer, three grandchildren, Lucas Wells, Tyrone Raymer and Anthony Raymer, six siblings, John Meadows, Tom Meadows, Ruth Owens, Grant Vaughn, Chester Vaughn and Lester Vaughn and numerous nieces and nephews.
Liz was kindhearted, caring and a firecracker when she was provoked. She was known as flying-feathered leaping lizard to those that were close to her. She loved her family and welcomed visitors at any time.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 12 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The committal will immediately follow. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tim Hastings.
