Mrs. Mary "Eddie" Snow Rottero's Obituary
Mary "Eddie" Snow Rottero, a longtime resident of Hendersonville, Tn. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 22, 2015.
Mrs. Rottero was a professional with AT&T Communications for 48 years, retiring in 1989. She was a dedicated mother and military wife, supporting her husband during his 42 years of service in the United States Air Force and the Tennessee Air National Guard.
During her tenure with AT&T, Mrs. Rottero was assigned to Memphis, Tennessee during 1951 to 1952 where she handled ship-to-shore communications on the Mississippi River.
Mrs. Rottero is preceded in death by her Father; John H. Snow, Mother; Annie M. Snow, Brothers; G.L. Snow, Clyde Snow, Jonnie Snow Sisters; Lillie McGee and Robbie Minton.
Mrs. Rottero is survived by her husband of 67 years, M/SGT Charles M. (Doc) Rottero (USAF Retired), Son; Kevin and Lou Rottero, Granddaughters; Tracey and Rodrigo Fass, of St. Croix, USVI, Stephanie and Kent Bailey of Kingston, Tennessee. Great-Grandchildren; Miller R. Bailey, and Madalyn Bailey, of Kingston, Tennessee.
Loving extended family; Linda (Craig) Whitlow, of Bowling Green, KY., Sandy Garrett, of Gallatin, TN, and loving grand-dog Eva.
Mrs. Rottero was a founding member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the St. Joseph Altar Society and Women’s Club.
She was a long standing member of the Telephone Pioneers and Communication Workers of America Local 10808.
Active pallbearers are; Rick Arrington, John Norman, Kevin Rottero, Miller Bailey, Kent Bailey, and Craig Whitlow. The family requests that the members of the AT&T and Bellsouth Birthday Clubs and Retired AT&T/Bellsouth Employees Act as honorary pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, March 27 at Spring Hill Funeral Home with the Rosary service at 7 p.m.. Her Celebration of Life Mass will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tomy Joseph, Celebrant. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that expressions of sympathy be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Catholic Charities of Tennessee.
