Mrs. Mary Lois Short Ezell's Obituary
Mary Lois Short Ezell, age 89 of Nashville passed away January 27, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY after a short illness. Mrs. Ezell was born on June 11, 1924 in Depoy, KY to the late Edwin and Lillie Scott Short. She loved making crafts and attending craft fairs; was a Sunday School Teacher and longtime member of Inglewood Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Grady Ezell and her brothers, James Lloyd Short and Carroll Edwin Short. She is survived by her sister, Alma Short Jessup; sister-in-law, Betty Short and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 1st at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Shrum officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, January 31st from 4-8 P.M. and on Saturday from 9-11 A.M. Memorial donations may be made to Inglewood Baptist Church, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
