Sharon Lassiter
Lora's mother Mary was special and an inspiration and role model for all. We were both born in May. Mary on the 16 in 1938. My twin sister Sharoland I were born on May 19, 1941 in MN. I taught kindergarten with Lora, Mary's lovely and talented daughter at Paragon Mills Elementary School. Lora, like her mother, is musical and has a fun and loving personality.
I am a cat person too. The Christmas letter I send usually has a photo of a current cat. A 14 year old black and white tuxedo cat named Ole Bull, after a Norwegian folk violinist, is in residence.
Mary will live on in our memories. The following quote reminds me of Mary. "How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak, and the strong. Because someday you will have been all of these." -George Washington Carver
