Miss Mary Lucile "Lucy" Gresham's Obituary
Passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Lucy was born in Nashville, Tennessee and lived most of her life in East Nashville and Donelson. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Gresham, and her mother, Bessie Gresham. She spent her working years with both the city and federal government. She retired in 1984 from the Social Security Administration.
Lucy was a kind soul and very generous person who loved the Lord. For most of her life she was a member of the 11th Street Church of Christ and in her later years was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. She was a friend to all and never said a bad word about anyone. Lucy was a true Christian lady who loved life and made the best of whatever circumstances she encountered.
She is survived by special lifelong friends, Gary and Claire Hart. A special thanks to the nurses and attendants, in the memory care unit at Mary Queen of Angels.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
