I always loved the times our family went to Nashville to visit cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmothers. Mary was one of my favorite aunts; she was so sweet and loving. I thought she was one of the most beautiful women I had
ever seen (she should have been a movie star). I also loved her for her gentle, loving ways; I never heard her raise her voice. She was the perfect southern belle!!
After I moved away from Louisville to go to college in Utah, I couldn't visit; and it was a long time before I connected with aunts and cousins in my later years. I began to call Mary; and we enjoyed talking on the phone almost every month. We talked about most anything; but, of course, we enjoyed talking about old times. Then we would talk about what was going on with current things.
I absolutely loved talking with Mary; and I grew to love her more and more. We talked about family, old times, current times, and whatever was going on in our lives, and in the world. I will miss our talks; but I will look to the time that we will walk and talk together again. Mary, thanks for the memories!!!
Suzanne and family, KNOW that Mary will be very, very close to you; she will be watching and loving you forever!!! GOD BLESS!!!
