Mary Jane Lewis' Obituary
LEWIS, Mary JaneAge 59 of Goodlettsville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by father, Walter T. Blackman, Jr., and loving first husband, the father of her children, Michael T. Lewis Sr. Survived by mother, Nancy J. Blackman; children, Michael (Mickey) T. Lewis, Jr. (Paula), Mary (Betsy) Elizabeth Warner (Chad), Joy Christine Christianson (Brian); devoted second husband, Frank T. Lewis; step daughters, Holliday (Holi) Baird (Ed), Jennifer Jernigan (Ed); sisters, Virginia Weir (John), Marjorie Martin (Mike); brother, Tom Blackman (Beth); beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Lucian, Braydon, Veronica, Chad Jr., Abbagail, Wyatt, Sarah, Ashley, Elizabeth, Reagan and Caleb. She was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School, Class of 1967. She was an active member of Inglewood Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship of the Joy Sunday School Class, where she served as a substitute teacher. She was employed at the Cumberland Eye Clinic and loved all her co-workers dearly. In her free time, she enjoyed family, traveling, reading, feeding and watching the birds, walking and gardening at her wooded home site. In lieu of flowers, please help many to know Jesus Christ by sending your donations to the Gideon's. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, 12-7 p.m. and Friday, 12-2 p.m., at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Gallatin Road. Funeral services will be at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2 p.m., with Dr. Kevin Shrum officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
