Mrs. Mary Jones, age 79 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away at her home on Saturday, June 12, 2021 after a four-year battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born on September 11, 1941 in Liverpool, England to the late John and Margaret Phillips. She is survived by her loving husband John Jones, children Carl Jones (Michelle), Stevan Jones, and Elizabeth Brewer (Brice), grandchildren Alexandra, Victoria, Carly, Ted, Aden, Liam, Hannah, Gavin, and Elaina, as well as special cousin Roger Heath, and a host of extended family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her sister Norah Phillips of Liverpool, England.
Mary was a homemaker for much of her married life, prior she was a physiotherapist (physical therapist), working in the Liverpool, England hospitals. Her main interests were reading and arts and crafts of most types, but particularly quilting, knitting, and painting. She enjoyed walking and was a member of Sumner County Trails. She enjoyed extensive travel within the USA and internationally. But primarily she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and loving wife.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held for Mrs. Jones on Friday, June 18 at 2:00 pm with the family receiving visitors one hour prior to service in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home.
