HUGHES, Mary Leona (Dunn)Of Leesburg, FL (formerly of Nashville, TN). Beloved mother of Rebecca Pleasant, Bowling Green, KY, Pauline (David) Scutt, Hendersonville, TN, Mary (Don) McLane-Hooper, Leesburg, FL; grandchildren, Michael Pleasant, Philip Hooper, Barry Hooper; great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Tiffany, Makenzi and Elizabeth Hooper. Mrs. Hughes worked as a bookkeeper-stenographer at H.E. Palmer Roofing Company. After her retirement, Mrs. Hughes was active for many years in the womens prison ministry, plus other missions. She was a woman of great faith, a student of the Bible all of her life, and truly a positive thinker. She was a lifelong member of the church of Christ. Mrs. Hughes lived at various times with each of her daughters, always finding a church home where she could worship and be of service. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
