Ms. Mary Prince's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Prince, age 90, passed away at Grace Manor Assisted Living on April 6, 2018. She was born September 29, 1927 in Nashville, TN., the daughter of the late Ollie L. Prince and Mary Williams Prince, and a 1945 graduate of East Nashville High School.
During her working career she was employed at Western Union, Levett Photo Supply and Norvell Wallace Lumber Company from who she retired. For many years she was a very active member of Hobson Methodist Church and later a longtime, active member of Dalewood United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included reading, needlepoint creations and especially flower gardening.
Mary Elizabeth is survived by her cousins Barbara and Bill Ewin and family of Franklin, Tn., Wallace and Dorothy Williams and family of Birmingham, AL, Kitty Williams Donnan of Watkinsville, GA; Kathy and Richard Suggitt and family of Virginia; Reca Williams (Turner- whom has passed away); Allen and Laurale Williams and family of Brentwood, TN and her lifelong friend Mary Jane Haynie of Gallatin, TN. She very recently lost her cousin Paul Winston Prince of Normandy, TN.
Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, Nashville with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 pm in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dalewood United Methodist Church or to Grace Manor, 1420 Old Hickory Blvd. Nashville, TN 37207.
