Mrs. Mary Carolyn "Carol" Stanfield's Obituary
Mary Carolyn “Carol” Stanfield, 85, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020. Born February 6, 1935 in Madison, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Howard Preston Morrow and Mary Glenn McMackin.
She was a Christian who was strong in her faith. A loyal wife and loving mother, Carol had taken care of her daughter Linda for 50+ years. She grew up in the Old Hickory area, was a member of the Rainbow Girls and had done some local modeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Harold L. Stanfield; son Raymond Stanfield; brother Kennith Morrow.
She is survived by her daughter at home, Linda Stanfield; brother J. Duane (Suzi) Morrow; nieces Sandra Naples and Cindy Morrow; nephew Terry (Janie) Morrow.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37216. Pastor Derek Capello will lead a Celebration of Life Funeral Service Thursday, May 28, at 11 AM with burial following in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
