Mrs. Mary Sue Trebing's Obituary
Mary Sue (Lusty) Trebing, age 97 of Nashville, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2016. Mary Sue was born in Nashville on July 12, 1919 to the late J.W. Lusty and Susie Rust Lusty.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years James Lee Trebing, brother Stuart Lusty, and sisters Ethel Lusty and Clara Boyte.  She is survived by her children Thomas Edward (Carol) Trebing, James Lee (Vickie) Trebing Jr., and Beth Trebing (Ben) Davis, grandsons Brian (Stacy) Pearson, Greg (Chanda) Pearson, Michael (Nancy) Trebing, Jonathan Trebing, granddaughter Misty Trebing, plus many loving nieces and nephews.
Mary Sue lived her entire life in Nashville. Born in North Nashville (Germantown) she graduated from Hume Fogg High School before marrying Jimmy Trebing also from Germantown in 1938. They moved to Inglewood in 1946 where she was a homemaker raising her children. She later worked at Cain Sloan department store first in retail and then in accounting. She was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church and the Friendship Class for over 65 years. Her family will remember her as a great cook, a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. The family would like to thank the Bethany Healthcare staff for the exception care they provided to her.
Visitation with the family is Tuesday August 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Celebration of Life service begins at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Brian & Greg Pearson, Michael & Jonathan Trebing, John & Brian Lusty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Inglewood Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
