Mary Lisa Uhles' Obituary
Remembering Mary "Lisa" Batey Uhles
March 5, 1963 - January 15, 2025
Our hearts are heavy as we share the passing of our beloved Lisa, who left us on January 15, 2025, in her hometown of Nashville, TN. Born on March 5, 1963, Lisa was a beacon of love, kindness, and honesty.
Lisa was the cherished daughter of John Curtis Batey and Wilmoth Holstrom, both of whom have passed on before her. She was the loving sister to Donna Warren, and a devoted aunt to her nieces Ashley Stafford, Jamie Smith, and April Warren, and nephews Bryan Warren and Ryan Warren. To her great nieces and nephews, Karlecia, Kinsler, Ava, Bristol, A.R., Elsie, Ariel, Zoey, Niko, Theo, Cheyenne, Summer, Autumn, Kaydence and Liam. Lisa was also the dear step-daughter of Charles Holstrom III.
Family was the center of Lisa's world. She had a beautiful habit of sending us daily inspirational quotes, filling our days with positivity and hope. She was our confidante, our caretaker, always putting others before herself with a selfless and loving heart.
Lisa found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to fish and could often be found by the pool, embracing the tranquility of the water. Her passion for cooking brought us together, creating cherished memories over shared meals filled with laughter and love.
Lisa was more than a sister and aunt; she was a shining light who embodied selflessness and positivity. Her spirit uplifted everyone around her, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire us.
As we say goodbye, we hold tight to the memories of her warm embraces, her reassuring words, and the joy she brought into our lives. Lisa, you will forever remain in our hearts, and we will miss you dearly.
