Mary "Kathy" Webb's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Our Beloved Mary Katherine “Kathy” Webb
March 6th, 1960 - January 25th, 2025
It's with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Kathy Webb on January 25th, 2025. Born on March 6th, 1960, in Nashville, TN, Kathy was more than a loving wife, mother, and grandmother—she was the heartbeat of our family.
She loved the beach, animals, and gardening. We'll always remember her joy as she tended to her garden, her eyes lighting up with each new bloom. She never missed a chance to go out dancing and have a good time.
Being a grandmother and great-grandmother was one of her greatest joys. She was so excited to pick out the nickname Gigi, and it suited her perfectly. Whether sharing popsicles with the grandkids or creating magical adventures, she filled their lives with love and wonder.
Kathy's compassion and honesty touched everyone she met. She was loving, nurturing, and a great friend to so many. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her door was always open to those who needed a listening ear or a warm hug.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband, John Webb; her cherished daughters, Nakia Allen and Victoria Johnson; and her adored grandchildren, Chelsi Cartwright, Amanda Allen, Alexis Johnson, LaJoshua Thomas, and Ava Thomas; great-grandchildren, Darius Cartwright, Camilla Allen and PJ Botte; and step-children, Trina (Bobby) Nelson, Angie (Robert) Moore and Tammy (Lucius) Boyd; sisters, Carol (Homer) Hunter and Anita (Joe) Offut; brother, Ricky Howell and a host of step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Howell and Victoria Hand, and her brothers, Micky Howell and Jerry Moore; stepson, Ricky Webb. We find comfort in knowing they are reunited.
Kathy's love and light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. We'll treasure the memories we've shared and hold onto the lessons she taught us. Until we meet again, rest in peace, our dear Kathy.
