Ms. Mary Emma Williams' Obituary
Mrs. Mary Emma Williams, 87 of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully at Alive Hospice on December 22, 2020. Born in Columbia, TN to the late Tommy and Mattie Sharp of Culleoka, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Douglas C. Williams, and older brothers Jesse Sharp and J.C. Sharp.
Mary is survived by her children Michael T. Williams, David R. "Ricky" Williams, Kimberly A. Raisbeck, and son-in-law Cory, brothers George C. Sharp and D. Odell Sharp. Mary was a devoted grandmother to 5 grandchildren, Josh, Caleb, Derek (Merritt), Michael, and Shelley (Jojo), 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was loved and will be missed by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mary began her career as a secretary at Rudy’s Farm and retired as a bookkeeper after 38 years at Suburban Propane. She loved to work in her flower garden and going to flea markets, and was an avid reader.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 12pm-2pm, with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Entombment will follow in the Serenity Mausoleum within Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
