Mrs. Mary Lou Williams' Obituary
Mary Lou Williams, age 81 of Gallatin passed away on July 5, 2013. Mary Lou was born on August 5, 1931 to the late John Thomas and Mary Martin Crocker in Cincinnati, OH. She grew up in Nashville and was educated at St. Cecelia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William “Bill” Williams; daughter, Mary Ann Spain; and sister, Betty Jean Crocker. She is survived by her sons, Crocker (Linda) Williams and Chris (Joyce) Williams; grandchildren, April Marie Williams, Chelsea¬¬¬¬ Jade Williams Meyer (Kyle), Mary Jacalyn Williams and Zach Elledge; great-granddaughter, Jade Rhyne Meyer; and special pets, Maggie-May and Blossom. Mary Lou loved the gifts of music and art; she loved to collect antiquities, especially dolls and antiques which were her prized possessions. Most of all she loved her family with a dedicated passion. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, July 8th from 4-7 P.M.
