Mr. Max Wayne Smith's Obituary
Max Wayne Smith age 66 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on January 18, 2018 in Rutherford County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bradley and Gwyn Smith.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Jane Robinson Smith; daughters, Dana (Alan) Suiter, Amy Smith; sister, Debi (Mike) Barrett; niece, Stacy Ward; nephew, Dusty Johnson; 4 step-children, Becky (Joey) Bilodeau, David (Catherine) Robinson, Michael (Amy) Shirley, Stephen (Elizabeth) Shirley; grandchildren, Allyson Suiter, Miranda Suiter, Natalie Suiter, Jordan Shirley, Claire Shirley, Luke Shirley, Campbell Shirley, Tristan Shirley, Mahayla Shirley, MJ Shirley, Anna Robinson, Cora Robinson, and Noah Bilodeau; 1 great-grandchild, Emery Rainey; uncle, John Smith, aunt, Janis Smith; and numerous Cousins, nieces and nephews.
Max retired from FAA at the Nashville airport and the national guard. One-time professional dirt biker racer, avid motorcycle rider, boat enthusiast, and tinkering on anything mechanical.
In retirement he was enjoying traveling with Jane, playing with his grandkids, and hanging out with his children while is wife did her passion of preparing tax returns.
He also hounded all who would listen to keep their car fluid levels checked and topped off. He kept everyone’s car repaired and running.

Visitation will take place from 4-8pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral Service will take place on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 11am with a 1-hour visitation prior.
