Melinda "Linda" Moses' Obituary
Mrs. Melinda “Linda” Lucia Moses, age 89 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021. She was born on April 27, 1932 in Kimball, Nebraska to the late I. Devery and Lucia McIntosh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Billy R. Moses and son Randy Moses. She is survived by her children Rick Moses (Sandra), Melanie Moses, and Devery Moses (Kimberly), daughter-in-law Brenda Moses, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Linda was a very positive and caring person who never met a stranger. She was friendly to everyone and had a wonderful sense of humor. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. When her children were young, she was very involved with their schools, serving as PTA President for their elementary and high schools. She was very creative and enjoyed drawing and painting, as well as listening to music of all kinds. She was an excellent cook and she was known for her tasty baked apples and her baked beans. She loved her cats, and enjoyed watching the birds in her yard with them while enjoying a scoop of salted caramel ice cream. Linda’s faith was very important to her as well and she was a devoted member of Riverwood Church of Christ. Linda was well loved by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, November 4 from 4pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 5 at 12pm, with the family receiving visitors from 10am until service time. Entombment within the Serenity Chapel Mausoleum on the grounds of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will follow.
