Melvin Eugene Norris' Obituary
Melvin Eugene Norris, 81, of Madison, Tennessee, sadly passed away on September 7, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Melvin was born on June 27, 1943, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Charles Norris and Nancy Swafford Norris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Mangrum Norris; daughter, Angela Crawford; and several brothers and sisters.
Melvin is survived by his daughters, Betty (Dickie) Norris Faulk, and Connie Norris; grandchildren, Jason (Victoria), Brandon, Dana (Otis), and Courtney (Patrick); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Austin, Caleb, Ashton (Michael), Xander, Mya, Callie, Cash, Piper Ann, and Arianna; great-great-grandson, Sebastian; and his brothers, William (Sharon) and Sam (Robbie) and their daughter Little Nancy.
Melvin loved all his cats and raccoons. He liked watching the Tennessee Titans, but only if they were winning. In his free time, he liked to do word searches. Melvin will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from ten o'clock in the morning until four o'clock in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at two o'clock in the afternoon with visitation starting at ten o'clock in the morning. The committal service will immediately follow.
