Merrie Beth Johnson's Obituary
Merrie Beth Johnson was born November 2nd, 1943, in Nashville Tennessee. She graduated from
Issac Litton High School and went on to be a dental assistant for a short period of time.
She married Roger Alyn Johnson on November 24th, 1961.
In their early years of marriage, Merrie loved supporting her husband in all his sporting adventures. After having her two sons she devoted her days to raising them.
Merrie had a love for antiques. Her knowledge of them was extensive and her home was full of them.
After having grandchildren, she spent majority of her days helping raise them. She loved spending days going to garage sales and playing games with them.
She also loved reading the paper every morning with the light from the sunrise. For the holidays everyone looked forward to her cooking, especially her brownies and custard. Those who knew her well will always remember her unconditional love and support which will continue to be felt by all those whose lives she touched.
Merrie Beth is survived by her two sons Roger Alyn (Sharon) Johnson Jr, Jeffery Todd Johnson, her grandchildren Krista, Allyson, Dylan, and Tyler Johnson, great grandchildren Kayleigh and Sutton Johnson, brother Harry Hughes. Not to be forgotten her beloved dog Tia.
Merrie is preceded in death by her husband Roger Alyn Johnson, her mother Elizabeth Warder Hughes, father Clyde Hughes, sister Judy Hunt, and brother Kenny Hughes.
