Mr. Michael Brooks' Obituary
Michael John Brooks - Nashville, TN
Died peacefully at his home in Nashville on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was seventy-five years old.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol, son Ken Brooks of Memphis, daughters Cindy (Art) Yeager of Landstuhl, Germany, and Kim Brooks (Rusty Wolfe) of Wausaukee, Wisconsin, step-son Dale (Lee) Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, five grandchildren, mother Bonnie Jean Brooks, sister Donna (Gary) Anderson, brother James Brooks, and many life-long friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Brooks.
Brooks was born in Green Bay on February 12, 1942. He grew up in the North Woods of Wisconsin and moved to Nashville in 1973. He wore many hats in his life: Air Force mechanic, truck driver, helicopter pilot, private detective. He was a trusted and dependable friend. He loved his pets like family and dreamed of one day returning to the farm of his youth.
A memorial will be held in Nashville at the Spring Hill Funeral Home on Gallatin Road on Monday, March 13. We invite you to visit with the family at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
An additional memorial will be held in Wisconsin in May.
