Mr. Michael Ray Hollingsworth's Obituary
Michael Ray Hollingsworth, age 70, of Nashville passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015.
Mr. Hollingsworth was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a Godly man and he served in the Air Force during the early days of Viet Nam.
Mr. Hollingsworth was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Rhoda Hollingsworth; and sister, Sandra Young. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Hollingsworth; sons, Chris (Shawn), Mark (Gina), Chad (Christi); brother, Timothy (Jackie) Hollingsworth; grandchildren, Nathan, Elizabeth, Catherine, Chandler, Noah, and Braedyn Hollingsworth.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2015 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery with Dr. Kevin Shrum officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2- 8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at woundedwarriorsproject.org. Services entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
