Mr. Michael "Hog" Lampley's Obituary
Michael “Hog” Lampley, age 65, of Nashville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Elton and Mary Lampley; two brothers, LC and Roger Dale Lampley; two sisters Barbara Archey and Margie Smith. He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline Sherwood (Jeremy); one son, Jeffrey Lampley (Alisha); one stepson, William Browen III; two sisters, Claudia Davidson (Thomas), Annie Parkhurst; three grandchildren, Morgan and Micah Lampley, Jeremy Michael Sherwood, and his best friend Rickey “Road Dog” Tripplett.
Michael enjoyed the simple things in life and had a great sense of humor. He was a family man and enjoyed working in the yard and in his garage. He also enjoyed a few TV shows, COPS, American Idol and The Voice just to name a few. Michael also loved animals, especially his cat “Sister” who has not left his side the last two years. “Hog” will be missed by all who knew him. Special “Thank You” to Jeremy for his care and compassion to Michael.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from Noon until 3 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Memorial Ceremony will be conducted from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at Lampley Cemetery in Fairview, TN at a later date.
