Michael J. Martin's Obituary
Michael J. Martin, age 65, of Joelton, passed away on December 2, 2014. Michael was born in Lubbock, Texas on January 27, 1949 to Meekley and Virginia Martin. Michael was a loving husband and father, and a friend to many.
Michael was a musician and songwriter for many years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and spent twelve months in Vietnam, mostly as a Pointman, with the 11th Infantry/Americal Division, class ’68-’69. His citations include : Silver and Bronze Stars, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
Michael is survived by his wife, Lynette Couch; and daughter, Adrianne Martin; as well as many dear relatives and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, Michael will be cremated and services to be announced at a later date.
