Dear Nancy and Family,
All of us here at the American Legion join together to send along our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Mike. May God begin now to heal your hearts as you all travel on a grief journey. Since we serve THE GOD OF ALL COMFORTS you can 100 percent trust Him to provide everything y'all will need for such a journey. Also, Jesus Knows and Jesus Cares about every thought, feeling and emotion that comes to your mind. Someone wrote, "Healing comes through story." When asked what to do on a grief journey it seems telling the stories," the good ones, the bad ones, the silly and sad ones," is the task laid before us. I have known Mike and Nancy as faithful members at Hilldale Baptist. A favorite memory of most Sundays at church was seeing them go by our pew on the way to their pew. Each of them always had beautiful, warm smiles, and it made me feel good, just seeing them! He will be GREATLY missed on this earth, but we know he is bringing smiles to all those in Heaven! Nancy, I pray you and your family will feel the comfort and peace that only God can give!

A Brother in Arms, but more importantly, a Brother in Christ. I have missed him dearly during this virus time. He is an inspiration to me and always will be with that big smile and tight handshake. I will miss our talks of military experiences and of life in general. Looking forward to seeing him again, this time in glory. Mr prayers for comfort to Ms Nancy and all involved. I am so sorry to hear that Mike has gone to be with Jesus. I loved Mike and love Nancy. They were my neighbor and was in my Sunday School Class. I am praying for Nancy. I love Nancy.
