Michael "Mr. Mike" Eugene Kinnard Jr.'s Obituary
Michael Eugene Kinnard Jr was born on October 24, 1972, to Ms Sharron Crook and the late Michael Eugene (Pops) Kinnard Sr.
He was a rambunctious young boy from the beginning of his early years. He attended Davidson County Schools from elementary to High School where he was well known for his OUT LOUD PERSONALITY! Michael was always looking to get into something that challenged and piqued his curiosity. Michael (Lil Mike) was one of those guys that just had to see what made everything work. Often times when we were kids Lil Mike would get in trouble because he'd taking a radio or the VCR apart and didn't get it back together in time. Lil Mike was a self-taught engineer. He began dissecting any and every electrical or wired piece of equipment he came in contact with. Lil Mike had a passion for Model Planes, Trains & Automobiles and soon that led to Remote Control Planes, Trains & Automobiles. He built a large prototype of his Train Station and he was so proud of it and he loved turning it on for family
and friends. Lil Mike started his first club when he was in high school, it consisted of only 5 members and they were true brothers Michael Harris, JJ Hurt, Sean & Troy Lloyd they met at Mc Gavok High. They were called XKA and though it didn't last long their brotherhood did., because Lil Mike and Myron went to go be with their first love, their mother Sharron Crook who was always that love and light for them both. Lil Mike was very competitive he and Myron our little brother started competing with their revision of their Remote Control Amped Out Versions. Thus taking them to the Later Greater version of their real life PIMPED OUT RIDES they continue to Sport today. Lil Mike and Myron chopped off the tops of their Monte Carlo's and when I say North Nashville went crazy!!! It was like New Superstars had Graced Nashville. Lil Mike & Myron bumping MJG, Pistol, Master P & Too Short had
the city KRUNK. Lil Mike didn't stop there he then added Lifters, Hydraulics and topped it off with Rims. That's when the real competition started. Lil Mike founded his Car Club and competed in numerous competitions taking home many 1st Place Trophies. Lil Mike was always doing something... but family was always his driving force. Lil Mike lived HIS life everyday with INTENT!! It was HIS and nobody was going to get in the way of how he LIVED, LOVED, or EXPRESSED HIS LIFE! Lil Mike ( Mr. Mike) Founded Darkside and I don't think that even he himself could've imagined the magnitude & impact on Nashville & it's surrounding Cities as well as States that this Organization has had. Lil Mike was a humanitarian, a big brother, a father, a grandfather and a Life Partner whom he LOVED OUT LOUD. On and off the set Lil Mike lived his life OUT LOUD and he shared his love of his family in that same
manner. Gone TOO Soon
Never to be FORGOTTEN
