Michael “Mike” E. Windsor, age 71, of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed Windsor and Nancy Green. He is survived by his three sons, Scott Windsor (Cindy), Christopher Windsor (Lauren), Taylor Windsor; one sister, Faye Ethridge (Wendall); two brothers, Jerry Windsor (Alice), Kevin Green; two grandchildren, Austin Windsor, Brooke Windsor. Professionally Mike worked for Metro Nashville Police Department for 36 years as Head of the Fugitive Department. After retirement he worked for the Federal Court as a Federal Marshall until his passing. Aside from his professional career, Mike enjoyed UT football, golf, going to Panama City Beach on vacation and a cold Miller Lite. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and had served as past President. Above all, he was a great father and would do anything to help those in need.
Visitation for Mike will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
