Ezell, Michiko Nosho. Age 82
At home with the Lord, June 3, 2017.
Preceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Andrew Gideon Ezell, Daughter, Jennifer Diane Ezell, Brothers, Isao Nosho and Tutomu Nosho, Mother Toshie Ogura and Father Tochimi Nosho?
She is survived by her son, Howard T. Ezell (Nashville, TN) her sister Emiko Yoshida (Tokyo, Japan), and loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She was born in Tokyo, Japan where she met and married her husband, Andy, while he was stationed there in service with the United States Army. They came back to the United States where she proudly took her oath as a US citizen.
She had two children and devoted her time to raising them and created a loving Christian home. She was a longtime member of Two Rivers Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and served alongside her husband for many years.
During a period of her life, she ran a well known store in Madison, Tennessee called Michiko’s Wood Box. She sold handmade crafts, unique gifts and created silk flower arrangements.
Made in the image of her Creator, she was creative! Her artistic side came out in cooking, homemaking, painting, craft making, flower arranging, singing and note writing. She cared deeply for those who were hurting and would try to make a difference even in a small way. She delighted in baking foods for friends, neighbors, her doctors and nurses.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2pm-6pm. A Celebration of Life service will conducted at 12:30pm in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Nashville National Cemetery.
