Ms. Mildred June Baskette's Obituary
Ms. Mildred June Baskette, age 92 of Madison, Tennessee passed away the morning of Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born on April 11, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Clarence and Violet Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Baskette and daughter Deanna Hazel Curtis. She is survived by her grandchildren Leslie Curtis, Melanie Willingham, and Stephanie Curtis Goad, great-grandchildren Aaron, Brianna, and Curtis Bloom, Jeff Willingham, and Laura Lopez, as well as five great-great-grandchildren and her stepdaughter April Gates.
Millie was a spunky, feisty, and independent lady. You never had to wonder what was on her mind, and she embodied the title line in “My Way” by Frank Sinatra as she certainly did things her way. She also had a soft side that was brought out by her love Bill.
The family of Ms. Baskette will receive visitors at Spring Hill Funeral Home from 12pm-1pm on Tuesday December 20 prior to a graveside service at 1pm in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
